Inside Job: The Failure of Financial Markets and Governments

Here is the official trailer of the hit documentary, Inside Job, which relates the story of the massive Wall St crash that wiped out millions of American families, municipalities and countries including Iceland and Greece. This film is necessary viewing for everyone, regardless of political stripe, who cares about politics and the economy going forward.

If the U.S. is to survive, our government must stop being the government of Wall St.

While the U.S. government may think of itself as too big to fail, that may not be the case if another financial catastrophe occurs. Worse, as the world’s reserve currency, if the U.S. fails the entire world will join the U.S. in Depression and the U.S. will experience a diminished political role model in the world’s mind – as many governments around the world are already questioning.

To understand these questions and the need to stop the GOP from rolling back even the modest regulations put into effect in the Financial Reform legislation, watch this interview with the documentary’s film maker, Charles Ferguson.
